Log your activities

For many of you, this will be your first go at a virtual event.  That’s ok… it is ours too.  So, we know there are plenty of questions!  Luckily, we’ve been working hand-in-hand with BikeReg.com to create a virtual leaderboard experience that is user-friendly.  Once you’ve completed your ride/run, simply log into your BikeReg account.  When you click on the Emerald Mountain Epic - Virtual event, you’ll be directed to a page where you can Enter Your Data (if you are entered in both a ride and a run category, you’ll have two different places to enter data).  Here, you will see a map of our suggested course, icons representing various achievement badges, and then a button to Sync Your Strava data.

If you are a Strava user, clicking this link will prompt you to connect to your Strava account, and then will show all of your Strava activities within our Virtual window.  Choose the activity you want to log for our Virtual Challenges, and hit OK. Note: if you complete an activity and then run or ride again and want to post a ‘re-do’, you can do this and replace your results until 8/23! After hitting OK, scroll to the bottom of the page and click save!  You’ll also see a link to our virtual leaderboard here so you can compare your results to other EME participants. 

Note: even without the use of apps, you will be able to manually enter your results (duration of activity, distance, elevation gained). We recommend that even app users be aware of the length and elevation of the course you plan to ride or run and have that ready in case your app malfunctions, your battery dies, etc.

Beyond logging your activities to our Leaderboard, we hope that you will share them with your friends on social media.  Tag us in your photos @emeraldmtnepic and use the hashtags #EMEVirtual #EME2020 #EmeraldMtnEpic so that we can share in your experiences!  We just may have something special set aside for the participant(s) who show out the most during their rides and/or runs!
