2021 Honey Stinger Emerald Mountain Epic

  •  With the optimism that this summer will bring a return to in-person events, we are already seeing a lot of interest brewing for Steamboat’s premier singletrack race experience on August 7th & 8th, 2021! We are excited to open registration for the 2021 Honey Stinger Emerald Mountain Epic !

  • In addition to the in-person race, we will continue hosting a virtual fundraising ride/run event for athletes who want to support on non-profit beneficiaries, but do not want to partake in the in-person race.  The virtual event window will be July 24th - August 6th!

  • NEW THIS YEAR: We will be hosting themed virtual training challenges to help motivate you to get the most out of yourself in 2021!  LEARN MORE HERE

Proceeds from the Emerald Mountain epic support two local nonprofits:

Partners in Routt County and Routt County Riders.

Covid Statement

Registration is now open for the Emerald Mountain Epic! While we understand that there is still a lot of uncertainty about what the future holds, we remain optimistic that we will be able to host an in-person race event August 7th & 8th!  While our focus remains on producing a premier mountain bike and trail running race experience, we are constantly monitoring all National, State, and Local Public Health Guidelines. We are developing strategies to ensure that our event is safe for our athletes, staff, and volunteers!  If you have questions, contact racedirector@emeraldmtnepic
