2026 Weekend SCHEDULE
Friday, August 7th
- 12p-6p: Racer Packet Pick-Up. Location: Hard Headed of Steamboat.
- Join for packet pick-up centrally located within downtown Steamboat Springs. Make sure you check your swag bag for specials at surrounding shops + dining!

Saturday, August 8th
- 6:00am-7:00am - Last Minute Bike Racer Packet Pickup
- In front of Olympian Hall near the start/finish line, on the grass. Look for the Partners for Youth tent.
- Open to bike racers only at this time. Run packet pickup will be later in the day.
- 6:00am - Racer Parking Opens
- The closest all day parking to our race start finish is located at the Howelsen Hill parking lots and/or the Steamboat Rodeo Grounds. For those that can, we recommend biking to the venue for a little warm-up!
- 7:15am-8:00am – Race Waves Start Based on Category
- Parking at Stables Parking Lot (835 Howelsen Pkwy; Steamboat Springs, CO 80487), start line is the Alpine Bank Arch at Olympian Hall.
- 7:15 am - ALL SOLO + Singlespeed Racers (those doing 52 miles)
- 7:30 am - Duo Male
- 7:45 am - Duo Co-Ed + Duo Female
- 8:00am - lululemon Shakeout Run. 3.1 miles from the lululemon tent at our vendor village outside Olymypian Hall. End at lululemon for complimentary breakfast, private discounted shop, and FREE lululemon SWAG!
- 9:00am-12:00pm - Run Day Packet Pickup at the Partners for Youth tent on the grass in our vendor village next to the start/ finish line.
- 9:15am – Duo Transition area opens - after lap finish line behind Howelsen Lodge
- ONLY DUO RACERS will have an untimed transition. You will be afforded 5-minutes after you cross the finish line to safely find your race partner and encourage them as they start the second lap.
- We recommend first lap teammates to ride with a location tracking app installed on their phone (Strava premium, Find My Friends, Glympse, Life360 or similar). This will allow second lap teammates to keep tabs on their teammates progress along the course, and better plan for the appropriate time to arrive to the Duo Transition area.
- 11:00am – Lunch/Beer Opens
- Lunch and beer available to racers only!
- 11:30am – Anticipated first finisher
- 11:30am – First Lap Cutoff - Course closed to anyone who has not started 2nd lap. All duo racers waiting for their buddy will be sent to start their lap by now!
- 12:00pm - Prize drawing redemption opens. We will have free prize drawings throughout the afternoon assigned to your bib number (look on the back of your bib!). You must be present in order to win and be sure to snag your prize from next to our podium.
- 1:00pm - Top to Backside Cutoff. Entrance to Ridge is closed.
- 1:30pm – Awards Ceremony
- We will honor the top 3 finishers in each duo and single speed categories, top 5 solo riders men and women doing 52 miles.
- 4:00pm – Anticipated last finisher - Course Closed

Sunday, August 9th
- 6:00am-7:00am - Last Minute Run Racer Packet Pickup
- In front of Olympian Hall near the start/finish line, on the grass. Look for the Partners for Youth tent.
- 6:00am - Racer Parking Opens
- 7:00am - Marathon Start
- All marathon racers will start near Howelsen Lodge at this time.
- 7:30am - Half Marathon & DUO Run Start
- All half marathon racers will start near Howelsen Lodge at this time.
- 9:00am - Prize drawing redemption opens. We will have free prize drawings throughout the afternoon assigned to your bib number (look on the back of your bib!). You must be present in order to win and be sure to snag your prize from next to our podium.
- 9:00am - Anticipated first Half Marathon finisher
- 9:00am - Marathon Cut Off at Beall/Ridge Aid Station
- This is 6-miles into our race. Any marathon runner that does not reach this point by 9:00am will be redirected onto the half marathon course.
- 10:15am - Anticipated first Marathon Finisher
- 10:30am - Half Marathon Awards
- We will honor the top 3 finishers in each half marathon category including DUO teams and Royalty of the Boat' Prince & Princess.
- 10:30am - Marathon Cut Off at Cow Creek/Beall Trailhead
- This is 12.8-miles into our race. Any marathon runner that does not reach this point by 10:30am will be asked to return to the start/finish line via a race vehicle or give up their bib to complete unsupported.
- 11:00am – Lunch/Beer Opens
- Lunch and beer available to racers only!
- 12:00pm - Marathon Awards + Royalty of the Boat Ceremony - We will honor the top 3 finishers in each marathon category, including Royalty of the 'Boat King & Queen.
- 2:30pm – Anticipated last finisher - Marathon Cutoff & Course Closed
