In partner with our incredible friends at Honey Stinger, we will be updating this page with training tips and nutritional information from Stinger's "hive" of experts and athletes!
Choosing Your Sports Nutrition To Help You Perform At Your Best Is No Easy Task.
Whether your new to the sports nutrition game or a seasoned veteran looking to spice things up a bit, find the perfect fueling match to pair with your workout and help you prepare, perform, and recover.
Routine Reset: Successful Goal Setting
With each new year comes new goals and the desire to form new habits. Challenges are guaranteed.
Robert Paylor, walking quadriplegic and motivational speaker, is no stranger to challenges. When a devastating, immobilizing injury trapped him in his own body, he set his sights on a clear vision.
"Make your vision bold, ambitious, and something you deeply desire to achieve. Find something in your life that you want as badly as I want to walk."
Making the Most of your Workout
When you exercise, your body burns through any energy that is available. This energy comes in the form of carbohydrates, protein and fat. Because of this, it is important to refuel, also known as “recovery nutrition”. We spoke with Allison Maurer, Director of Sports Nutrition and Fueling with the Pittsburgh Pirates, to learn more about why plant protein is a great option to refuel after exercise.
Make the Most of Your Hard Work
To help take your training to the next level, and learn how to best maximize rest and recovery, we talked with NBA Performance Coach and CEO of Great Day Squad, Ben Kenyon.
“Committing to an effective rest and recovery routine will give you the ability to reproduce the best results on a more consistent basis.”
Ben dives into the three major areasthat all athletes can improve on.
